At Sauk Prairie Early Learning Center our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging early learning environment that effectively supports the diverse needs of children, families, and  community. We are committed to delivering high-quality early care and education, creating a foundation for children to build critical skills for school and throughout life.

The Sauk Prairie School District in partnership with the Village of Prairie du Sac and the Sauk Prairie Area Chamber of Commerce began construction of a new early learning childcare center in the fall of 2024. This child center will help ease the challenge of childcare accessibility in the Sauk Prairie community.

Private donations will cover the cost of construction of the building, which will be owned by the Village of Prairie du Sac. Sauk Prairie School District will run and administer the center as a revenue-neutral program.
