Thanks to the WEA Member Benefits Foundation for the generous $41,000 grant to invest in our district’s transformative work on student mental health.
The Sauk Prairie School District was selected due to its unique model as the hub for mental health service delivery, its robust partnerships with community resources, and the district’s leaders and their being “champions” of youth mental wellness.
Superintendent Jeff Wright shared, “This is such a generous surprise — one that honors the hard work of our team and empowers us to continue to innovate. I’m excited for what is next.”
The unrestricted, multi-year grant was presented at the School Board meeting on September 8 by Steve Goldberg and Kelly Behnke, TGPC, CIC. The meeting took place at Tower Rock Elementary as part of the Board’s annual tour of all district schools.
