Easton Hager, eighth grader and son of Brandon and Kailee Hager, was selected as the April Sauk Prairie Optimist Middle Level Leader.
Team Black Teachers: Julie Dahlman (Math), Tim Bacon (Social Studies), Alicia Kopp (ELA) and Kristen Clark (Science), united to proudly nominate the fantastic Easton Hager for the Middle Level Leader Award.
According to them, “Easton is an exemplary 8th grade student who demonstrates a combination of academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility. Easton consistently shows enthusiasm for learning across various subjects, actively participates in class discussions, and asks thoughtful questions. One of Easton's greatest strengths as a learner is his ability to ask, pursue, and answer the "why?" "what if?" questions that help him gain a deeper understanding of content.
Easton not only excels academically, but also contributes positively to his school and community. He consistently serves as a role model for his peers and demonstrates caring, kindness, empathy and patience with everyone he encounters. It is an honor to bestow this highly deserved accolade on such a fine young human.”
Easton is a powerhouse of energy, balancing his academic pursuits with a whirlwind of extracurricular activities! He's not just a student; he is well-rounded and proudly represents his school on the forensics, basketball, and football teams. But that's not all, he’s also a weightlifting enthusiast, pushing his limits embracing the challenge of strength training.
As he looks to the future, Easton is filled with possibilities! While he’s excited about further education, he's keeping his options wide open, ready to seize whatever thrilling opportunity comes his way.
