Sauk Prairie April 2026 Referendum

Confidently Living Today With A Clear Vision For Tomorrow

Addresssing the Funding Gap

Changes in government funding—particularly state limits that have not adjusted for inflation since 2009 and the upcoming end of a federal grant—have affected Sauk Prairie’s operating budget over time.

After managing these challenges for many years, the district is now bringing an operational referendum to the community to maintain:

  • AP courses, electives, and youth apprenticeships

  • Fine arts, athletics, and extracurriculars

  • Mental health programming

  • High-quality staff

  • Reasonable class sizes
