We are excited to welcome new staff members to the Sauk Prairie School District…
Meet Pat Mahoney, Business Education Teacher at Sauk Prairie High School. He has a degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and a Masters in Business Education from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater.
Pat lives in Plain, WI with his wife Tara. They have three children Cole, Brock and Josie. He is enjoys golf and time with his family. Pat is involved in a coffee roasting company in Spring Green called Brewhaha Roasters. The company sells 12 ounce whole bean bags of coffee to 110 stores in Wisconsin and online.
Pat started his career in banking doing everything from teller to branch manager. When he got into coaching, he realized he didn’t like banking, but really loved coaching. He went back to school to be a Business Education Teacher because that had been his favorite subject in high school. He taught for 10 years before deciding to be a stay-at-home-dad after his daughter was born. Pat has been a substitute teacher for the last nine years and is happy to be back teaching full-time.

We are excited to welcome new staff members to the Sauk Prairie School District…
Meet Rachel Lizzadro-McPherson, School Psychologist for the Middle School and High School. Rachel, who has lived in southwest and midwest states, has her degree as an Education Specialist from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse and a Psychology degree with a minor in Child, Youth and Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point.
She has a beautiful daughter and two wonderful Shiba Inus named Yoshi and Rosalina.
Rachel picked a career in psychology because it made sense to her as she has always helped others along her life’s journey. She describes herself as a kid at heart and believes every child deserves to feel not only heard but also seen. Barriers to accessing support was a major reason why Rachel chose to be a school psychologist. She sees her work as being where the families are and being visible to those who need her most. Rachel felt that in her interviews with the Sauk Prairie School District, she could truly see herself impacting the school community in a positive way and that in turn the community would do that for her as well. She is excited to serve the community and become part of the Sauk Prairie Eagles family!
